Skull Taxidermy and European Mounts
Welcome to The Skull Doctor. I am Gil Doersch,
owner and operator, and I clean skulls for European mount and display.
Skull cleaning can be done a variety of ways, but I prefer to use
Dermestid Beetles, as they are the most efficient skull cleaning
machines out there.
A skull mount is a source of curiosity
and wonder - a mirror of an animal's mode of life - providing
insights into the animal's diet, strength of bite and its
specially developed senses. In addition to enjoying the natural
wonder of skulls, a European skull mount collection can be a great addition
to a classroom in a variety of courses, including art, science
and social studies.
